Priscila Schott’s work explores modular geometric systems through a language she defines as ludic constructivism, where logic and play converge. Drawing on her background in computer science, the composition operates as a structured yet open system, built from repeated elements that allow for variation, movement, and reinterpretation.
Using materials such as wood, foam, metal, and acrylic, Schott constructs dynamic arrangements in which form, color, and transparency interact with light and space. Shadows and layered planes continuously shift the visual experience, activating the work beyond its physical boundaries.
Rooted in the traditions of Brazilian constructivism and neo-concrete art, her practice extends these legacies into a contemporary context, introducing interactivity and a sense of play. The work resists fixed composition, instead inviting the viewer to engage with it as an evolving structure—one that unfolds through perception, movement, and imagination.
